Peanut Butter Pie

Posted on June 19, 2011. Filed under: Desserts |

My husband sent me a recipe like this to try.  I decided it would be a perfect dessert for Father’s Day.  I don’t think this is the recipe he sent me, but he seemed to enjoy it anyway.
Ingredients:
  • 1 ready made crust (I used oreo)
  • 1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • whipped topping
Make the pudding with the 2 cups milk according to the package directions.  Mix the peanut butter and sugar until crumbly.
Layer 1/2 of the peanut butter crumbles into the shell followed by the pudding and the remaining crumbles.
Top with whipped topping or whipped cream.
